What should you do over the next 30 days?

Use the following as a suggested prerequisite schedule—not a promise that every workflow can safely launch in a month.

Period Work to complete Decision-ready output
Days 1–7 Select one workflow; reconcile baseline demand; review difficult calls with frontline staff. Scope statement, exclusions and baseline limitations.
Days 8–14 Resolve operating rules; map data and permissions; assess applicable calling requirements; confirm fallback coverage. Approved policy pack, control owners and outstanding blockers.
Days 15–21 Configure a sandbox; test actions, recovery, difficult callers and handoffs; normalise supplier costs. Executed test results, defect register and comparable cost model.
Days 22–30 Rehearse rollback; verify reporting; agree pilot terms; repeat the quiz using reviewed evidence. Signed decision: remain with the alternative, continue preparation or approve a capped pilot.

For a live pilot, pre-agree the traffic boundary, operating hours, spending cap, monitoring coverage, acceptance thresholds and stop conditions. Restrict expansion until measured outcomes—not the readiness score—support it.
