Add Q1 through Q15. Maximum: 45 points.

Score Base result What it means Recommended next step
0–14 Do not automate this workflow yet Fundamental scope, evidence or control work remains unresolved. Improve routing or human coverage; appoint an owner; establish baseline demand and define one bounded task.
15–29 Prepare first There is enough definition to investigate, but too many prerequisites remain incomplete. Build an evidence-backed prerequisite plan. Resolve scope, legal/data questions and fallback before considering live traffic.
30–38 Ready for structured supplier testing The proposal is developed enough for a controlled evaluation, but not yet eligible for a live pilot under this rubric. Use synthetic or appropriately approved test data in a sandbox. Execute failure tests, verify measurement and close weak areas.
39–45 Conditionally ready for a controlled pilot Readiness is broad, subject to the mandatory gates below. If every gate passes and accountable reviewers approve, run one capped pilot. Otherwise hold live deployment and fix the blockers.

The cut-offs are desk-defined decision rules, not observed industry averages or success probabilities. A score of 40/45 does not imply an 89% chance of success.
