Use this hiring-informed checklist alongside a workflow-specific pilot:
- Delivery: Which named people will implement our agent, and are they already employed or contracted?
- Domain expertise: Who understands our scheduling, dispatch or servicing rules?
- Integration: Who owns failed writes, duplicates and system changes?
- Quality: Who verifies outcomes independently of the agent’s own summary?
- After-hours support: Who responds when the agent fails outside business hours?
- Human handoff: Who receives the caller, with what context, and what happens if nobody answers?
- Risk: Who approves access, retention, calling policy and contractual safeguards?
- Economics: Which implementation and ongoing labour costs are excluded from the quote?
- Continuity: Who takes over if a key engineer leaves or the supplier relationship ends?
Bottom line: use hiring evidence to identify the work a successful deployment requires. Award a contract on demonstrated execution and accountable staffing—not on recruitment ambition.
